Frequently asked questions

What is statusas.lt?

A branded status page and uptime monitoring that is audit-ready out of the box. Set up status.yourcompany.com, connect your monitors and start communicating incidents in minutes. The data stays in Lithuania and every invoice carries VAT.

What does the free plan include?

One monitor, one status page with three components, and a minimum check interval of 10 minutes. No credit card required; upgrade or cancel at any time.

What regions do you monitor from?

From 13 locations. Five are our own servers: Vilnius, Kaunas, Warsaw, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. The rest are edge locations across Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Oceania. Need a specific region? Write to us.

Can I manage it from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. A remote MCP server at api.statusas.lt/mcp connects Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor and any Model Context Protocol client to your workspace. The assistant can list pages, create and resolve reports and schedule maintenance. Every publishing tool makes the assistant choose explicitly whether to notify subscribers, and every call is recorded in the audit log.

Do you have an API?

Yes — typed JSON over HTTP with a published OpenAPI spec. Everything the dashboard does is reachable from it. The same key works across the API, the CLI, the Terraform provider and the MCP server, and every mutation lands in the audit log.

Can I monitor an internal system that is not reachable from the internet?

Yes. Run our probe inside your network — it connects out to us, so nothing has to be opened in your firewall.

Where is my data stored?

On our servers in Lithuania. Check results, incidents and subscriber addresses never leave the European Union, and retention matches your plan.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes. Every paid plan is available monthly or annually, and annual billing gives you two months free. You can switch at any time, and the VAT invoice arrives by email.

Do I need a status page for an audit?

Neither ISO 27001 nor SOC 2 prescribes a tool, but both ask you to show how you communicate with customers during an incident. A public page with timestamped history is the fastest way to demonstrate it — every report here is timestamped and archived automatically, so the trail already exists when the auditor asks for it.

How does this help with audit readiness?

A status page on your own domain, incident history with timestamps, subscriber notifications, maintenance windows, password- or email-domain-protected pages for internal teams, and an audit log showing every change made in the workspace.

Can I manage monitors as code?

Yes, two ways. A YAML file in your repository pushed with one CLI command, or the Terraform provider if your infrastructure already lives in HCL. Both use the same API key as the API and the MCP server.

Who is behind this?

LOYALTY LT, MB — a company registered in Kaunas. The servers are ours, the contract is under Lithuanian law, invoices carry VAT, and the reply to your email comes in Lithuanian.
